Bell Cottage by Ludlow Castle with onsite parking

Close to everything we needed as my husband is disabled My fault I didn’t read it was on 3 floors but we managed to access the bedroom and bathroom we enjoyed our stay

Front Door lock sticks we were locked in luckily it was a stable door and could access outside lock to open the door after a bit of jiggling a new tin opener needed as this one didn’t work apart from those 2 things we had a lovely few days in this cottage

The cottage, was well located and in an amazing settings. It well appointed with all the needs, to satisfy our stay in comfort and was in a great location for easy walking distance of local amenities, such as shops, inns and places to eat, also a good spot to visit surrounding places of interest. The property was well thought out and immaculate from top to bottom and the downstair loo a bonus.

Not a criticism, but as we are of the older age a walk in shower would have been easier for us.

Location was very handy for walking into the town, eating out etc. Would normally be quiet

We were not made aware that there would be concerts in the Castle on 3 of the 4 nights of our stay. This was noisy and affected our holiday significantly. Worth checking what's going on locally if this is likely to be an issue for you.

Lovely cottage in a great location. All facilities available. Ideal for a weekend away.

Excellent parking, superb location, quiet and private, well-equipped kitchen, TV in all rooms. Host Louise was quick to respond to help mitigate the effects of the heat wave on the top floor bedroom.

We've stayed before so we know the stairs are tricky and packed accordingly ie no suitcases. The cottage is compact and space for belongings is an issue, so personally I'd dispense with the plastic flowers and plants; it just takes extra time in each room collecting them up and putting them out of the way.

In a beautiful setting, perfect position to see local places of interest, quiet, very comfortable, clean, with much thought to provide many things that make your stay a pleasure.

Firstly I would like to say how much my wife and I loved the decor of the cottage and the fact it had secure parking was a real bonus. In addition to this the cleanliness was exceptional. The fact there are three TV's really did spoil us. The kitchen is well kitted out, with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. We were impressed with how well the grounds are kept. Also, the location is perfect for visiting the castle, the market, and all the shops were super close. Bell Cottage is a real gem, and a great choice for people who want convenience, secure parking and a clean and modern place to stay in Ludlow. It was a truly wonderful choice.

This is just our personal opinion- my wife and I found the mattress too soft and the sofas uncomfortable. However others may like them. This, by no means stopped us from highly recommending the cottage to our family and friends.

Beautiful, quiet , private location. So clean and well decorated.

A welcome pack with a few basic essentials like milk, bread and butter would have been nice.
