Bell Cottage by Ludlow Castle with onsite parking

Location and parking on site a real bonus and overall a lovely place to stay as the town and surrounding area has much to offer

The sofas at the premises were extremely uncomfortable and would think replacements would be a reasonable consideration

Location was perfect. Centrally located, close to everything yet very quiet in beautiful surroundings Nicely furnished and clean. Having two bathrooms was a plus. Comfortable bed. Hosts answered questions quickly.

It was a little hot in the bedroom. A fan was provided which helped. Otherwise, perfect!

Uncomfortable sofas in lounge. Very hot during our stay,upstairs window in bedroom was security locked and velux in bathroom couldn't be opened. Only small fan provided in the bedroom....not much fun when over 30 degrees! Cottage on three floors,VERY steep stairs with restricted head height.Not the ideal property if you aren't agile. We had to leave our medium sized suitcase on the ground floor in the kitchen.

Everything!!! Location was brilliant right next to the castle. Secure parking in site was a real bonus. Communication with the owner was best I’ve experienced. Cottage itself was lovely just right for our New Years stay. Such a lovely place for two. Cannot recommend enough 🤩🤩🤩

The cottage was adjacent to the castle, 2 mins walk from the market and town centre, great location! Ground floor Kitchen was modern and well appointed with toilet and utility room. The comfortable lounge was on the first floor, games were available, books to enjoy during your stay. The top floor bedroom had a good sized wardrobe, comfortable bed with separate bathroom. We stayed there in late December when the weather was cold and the cottage was always nice and warm. A nice place to stay for a short break to explore the charming Ludlow like we did or a longer stay if you want to make it a base for exploring Shropshire and mid Wales.

Shock horror… we did not find any kitchen roll, but we managed. ;-) Seriously, we could not fault the place.

Great location with private parking. Lovely setting, cosy and warm.

We were a little surprised that there was no welcome note, or basket, with even a small pack of biscuits, tea, coffee or milk. Luckily we had brought our own, so wee okay. There was also no shower gel or small soaps , plenty of toilet rolls and hand soap dispensers. It is a lovely place and just those little things let it down.
