M Hotel Niseko

Location is fantastic, the Hirafu shuttle stops out the front and the Niseko United shuttle stops 1 minute walk away. Central to lots of restaurants and convenience stores. The shower was amazing - hot and high pressure. Breakfast wasn’t fancy but had everything you need - croissants, bread, cereal, potato gems, bacon, noodles or rice, scrambled eggs, over-steamed veg, banana, mandarin, filtered coffee and juice. The best part is the chef will cook you fresh eggs of your choice (poached, sunny side up or over easy). Size of the room was fine and there was hanging space and shelving.

Pillows weren’t great. The info said bins would be emptied every day, but this wasn’t done until day 3 when you get new towels. The exhaust fan can be quite loud for sensitive sleepers, but it says not to turn it off. I’m a light sleeper, but luckily , it worked as white noise for me so I didn’t have issues sleeping. We had a room that overlooked the street, which was nice, but on Saturday evening at 2am, I could hear lots of noise from the bar Freddie’s a couple doors down when it closed.

Breakfast, location, laundry although the laundry room needed a clean.

Room was not clean, no phone in room to contact reception, no safe in room and no responsibility taken for safe keeping of valuables.

Nice big rooms with a larger fridge, super helpful staff, lotsa food options nearby, a large area to put ski gear.

The beds where super hard, there was no PowerPoint in the bathroom which seemed odd. The locker room to dry your ski gear in made our ski gear stink.

The location of this property is superb as it is in the heart of Niseko and walking distance to all the shops & restaurants. The staff is amazing and overall is excellent.

The only thing i'd say the downside is the beds and pillows are uncomfortable. The room is very small which i guess is expected in Japan and the breakfast options are limited.

Great breakfast, and incredible location! I would book 10x over for the location. Easy access to the shuttle and walking distance to MANY bars and restaurants.

The beds were so uncomfortable.
