The downstairs is wonderful. Bar and food excellent. The upstairs and rooms are very basic, shower is crap but given it was only £100 i have no issues. You're not there to stay in your room are you?

Not much to be fair

The cost of £100 for the room was not good value the room was dated and to be honest needed a refresh, the shower took ten minutes to warm up the shower cubicle was coming away from the wall, the vent went on for about 30 minutes and in the room there was a large crack down the corner of one wall no parking only over the busy road? And I suspect the reason they can charge this is there is limited accommodation in the area that can challenge them.

The location. Parking reasonably close (though across a busy road)

Although the room was ok it needed attention - some cracked plaster - the bathroom was decidedly manky. I noticed on leaving that bathrooms in other rooms had been updated. But all rooms were the same price.

A delightful old fashioned pub with fabulous restaurant. The rooms were really beautiful. Staff were excellent. Friendly, helpful.. It has a really nice atmosphere. If it has ghosts they are friendly!

Not much. If I was any bigger I'd have trouble fitting into the shower, but I am quite big!
