Los Cabos Golf Resort

Pleasantly surprised by this place. Pepe and Jose Luis in the restaurant for dinner we're so nice. Breakfast service not that friendly and when I arrived I had three employees watch me carry two suitcases up the main stairs before offering help so that was annoying. Really nice rooms - spacious and beautiful dishware/glassware. Not soundproofed at all though.

Could be much better but no one really cares except for tips…. I just stayed here for 5 days, being Wyndham Diamond I received a huge Suite upgrade but was surprised there was not even 1 courtesy bottled water. Reception staff unfriendly and already using the US fake tip-begging smile but okay. In the middle of nowhere , you will need a car or lots of sunscreen as it’s literally innige desert. The pool was closed for renovation but I enjoyed the suite. Huge, 2 bathrooms, only 1 working but alright, I was by myself. I probably wouldn’t return but the property itself was very Mexican cali style. Nice but needs some maintenance. Why can’t they offer a shuttle to the marina? Well…..

The room was very nice. Very practical, the staff were excellent overall. The food was spot on and the facilities were clean considering they were working on one of the pools while we were there. It was just getting filled on our last couple of days and was looking good.

The hotel was under renovations/construction during our stay, so part of the pool was not available. The breakfast that was I paid for was only continental breakfast (toast, fruit, OJ/coffee), which was not specified in the booking. The towels were in bad condition, holes, very old, and unavailable at times. The window in the bathroom could not open for ventilation and the shower water would change temperatures and pressures on its own. The room and kitchen was outdated and the pullout bed/couch mattress was extremly thin, old, and uncomfortable that my child could feel the springs and metal frame through the mattress. The cleaning lady did a really good job cleaning the room! I would also recommend the hotel building a canopy or car port for the room/guest parking to provide cover/shade for guests...vehicle would get to over 100 degrees in the heat!

It was just okay. Not as advertised

It’s not a timeshare, it’s so much more! It has a private pool, a private hot tub, beautiful, fully appointed kitchen, fully private backyard.

The good: The waitstaff here is above par. Hudesto, Ra'Ne, Magdalena, and another nice sweet guy, whose name I did not get, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Very attentive, thoughtful, and polite. Tip in cash if you can. Better for them I think. The grounds staff is spot on the grounds were very pretty and well maintained. Our rooms were nice. Enjoyed the decorating. The cleaning staff was attentive! My daughter booked a message which she really enjoyed. The Bad: The man at the front desk is the rudest person I have met in a long time. Our flight was canceled and we arrived a day late (yes we told them) and asked if there was any way we could stay a day and he just said NO. Not, I'm sorry we are booked up, which I very much doubted, or anything just a rude NO. We were not asking for it for free just wanted to extend the day we missed. The older lady concierge was not friendly. We asked questions about adventures and how to get around and she was very short and not helpful. We asked if she had any tickets or discounts, as most hotels do, she said no but we saw her giving coupons out on several occasions. The young lady at the front desk was far more helpful. They only have one restaurant- it is open air- the flies were TERRIBLE. Dinner food is not all that great, breakfast was decent (and not so many flies) especially the french toast which was amazing, lunch nothing to write home about. Food prep and presentation not consistent. Kinda pricey for being captive there. The pool (s) are in dire need of a good cleaning and making sure they are filtering (there was one pool that looked like it might have been a big hot tub but only one jet worked), lots of scum on sides. Hot tub in a lower pool area was inoperable. The shower took 10-15 minutes to get hot. The window in the bathroom was broken and you could not use the mechanism to close it, you had to pull it closed, which made being cool a little difficult. Not a fan of aluminum foil on my burners in the kitchenette. But it has dishes, some cooking stuff, glasses, a blender, a microwave, a mini fridge, and a coffee pot so we got through. We did appreciate the music at the bar area, but it would be nice to have DIFFERENT music not the same every night! It's not within walking distance of anything but an UBER was no problem to get and not all that expensive. It is not on the beach, but you can get to one by Uber. There is a Walmart close by. Looks like the place is undergoing remodeling at least that is what the sales pitch was. It's going to take a bit from what I can see.

This was our first time using the houses we upgraded to in January. We have been owners for close to 20 years and this is the best trip we have had! I highly recommend this for groups especially if you like golf or like having extra services. We had two great meals provided by Lois our chef. We only covered the cost of the food which was very affordable compared to eating out, and it was fantastic. The drivers made getting around easier. It looks like they are building some new facilities and we heard there will be a new restaurant soon which will be nice since we have been eating at the one they have there for many years. Excited to come back in November for our anniversary.

Excellent option for a family vacation. Great location. Loved the help from personnel at the front desk, the housekeeper, and the pool staff
