The George Inn

On first impressions very quaint on arrival parking ok was given a garden room no6 at rear of property on first impressions look ok but found quiet a few things not up to a 5 star rating found easy chair in room badly stained and coved with a throw toilet seat very loose and flush handle also loose. Coffee machine needed a good clean as well as portable fan.breakfast ok but not a great choice which had to be pre ordered the night before.also found bar area shutdown at 10 o’clock unable to get any condiments for the room or any drinks from bar.

The rooms are modern, very clean and quiet. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay. We had breakfast and also an evening meal, both of which were excellent. We would definitely recommend.

Lovely cottage pub in a quiet rural area. Facilities had everything we needed. Comfortable and clean. Food in the restaurant was very good especially the choice of breakfast options.
