Whalers Cove in Poipu

The location was great and the oceanfront condo views were magnificent.

We had a wonderful time we stayed in unit 130 partial view. The view was fantastic! The decor was comfortable and cozy. The property has a lovely pool and jetted spa and it’s a short walk to restaurants and shopping. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. They have beach gear including snorkels and fins. We enjoyed staying at Whalers Cove and will be staying here again!!

I live on Kauai and I always recommend Whaler's Cove to friends & family. It's a hidden gem in the middle of Poipu with easy walks to a beautiful coast. Plus it's conveniently located for exploring the south and west side. Or just relax at the pool overlooking the Pacific. And you always come back to a beautiful suite that's well appointed and maintained.

Returning to Whalers Cove in beautiful Kauai was like coming home. We requested our very same unit 123 and walking into the office and being greeted by the staff like friends and family was a delight. Whenever we Check in was seamless, any questions were immediately answered and walking into #123 to the amazing views and sparkling clean unit could not have been better—with one exception—to stay longer next time! And that is exactly what we have arranged for Spring of 2027. If you’re looking for easy access to several beaches, lovely Koloa town and a very private feeling after your adventure, Whalers Cove is not to be missed!!

We had an amazing family stay at Whalers Cove, Condo 211. The oceanfront views are incredible—our mornings started with coffee on the lanai watching the waves, and most evenings we enjoyed beautiful sunsets together. Our son loved spotting sea turtles swimming along the shoreline below. The condo was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable for a family. The kitchen was well equipped which made it easy to prepare meals, and having the extra space compared to a hotel made the trip so much more relaxing. The property itself is quiet, beautifully maintained, and the oceanfront pool was a big hit with our family. The location is also perfect—just a short drive to Poipu Beach, great restaurants, and shops. Our Condo felt like a true home base for exploring the south shore of Kauai, and we would absolutely stay here again on our next family trip. Highly recommend!

I had two rooms because I extended my stay and both were wonderful. We had great ocean views and the staff was great!!!

Whalers Cove Oceanfront Resort room 233 was excellent! The condo is fully equipped with a full kitchen, plenty of pots and pans for everything you will need to cook your meals. All the appliances are new and modern. I especially liked the granite countertops. The view from the Lanai is stunning. We watched divers off the coast and saw sea turtles and dolphins. It is a quiet and relaxing resort with a nice clean 4 ft. deep pool with plenty of loungers and umbrellas for everyone-- and a hot tub. We used the gas grill to cook our fresh Hawaiian fish. The shrubbery is green and healthy due to daily watering and gardeners. There are beaches and shopping very close by and easy to walk to. The resort has beach chairs and snorkeling gear to borrow to save on having to pack it all. The staff is very accommodating, making sure you have towels or anything else you need for the condo. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is great! A few minute walk away from Baby Beach and tons of restaurants near by. The room also had an AC unit which was great and kept us cool during our stay. Staff were also super helpful.
