Whalers Cove in Poipu

We absolutely loved the property and it exceeded our expectations. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We would certainly consider staying here again on a future trip. Our balcony looked out directly on the Pacific and we left the sliding balcony doors open the whole time. Nice to go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the waves hitting the rocks below.

Staying at Whalers Cove was the best part of our trip. It was so beautiful there. The staff was amazing. They were so kind and helpful. There is nothing to improve on. We wish we could have stayed there longer. It was perfect! My husband absolutely loved it. We would love to go back.

We stayed in unit 122. The condo was beautiful and the view was amazing. It has a huge lanai from which we enjoyed watching the dolphins swim by. Everyone on the staff was friendly and very helpful. They had beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and water shoes that you could borrow.

We so enjoyed our visit to Kauai, excursions (Lydgate Farms Chocolate, Koloa Rum Safari , Polihale Beach, golf Poiopu Bay and The Ocean Course Hokuala, snorkeling Baby Beach) just to name a few! But most enjoyable were the evening sunsets on 131 Lanai. Mahalo for Marianne and the staff's attendance to our every need. Looking forward to the next stay at Whalers Cove.

Whalers Cove is in a great location. We had an ocean view condo but could walk to the beach in about 5 minutes. The condo was adequately stocked, however it could have been cleaner. We did bring it to the manager, Marianne's attention and she did have housekeeping go in and reclean the condo. The beds were comfortable, the showers nice, and the kitchen was adequately stocked. The furniture was comfortable and the view was absolutely amazing. We saw dolphins and whales from our balcony while having breakfast in the morning. Morning breakfast and evening drinks on the balcony while listening the ocean crashing on the rocks was relaxing and so peaceful. The turtles and monk seals are pretty amazing to see and watch. The golf course is well maintained and the grounds are manicure perfectly. The staff was very kind and were helpful with information.... Honestly wanted to help anyway they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We did not use the pool, so I can not comment, however it looked to be clean and well kept. The resort has a bike trail as well as a walking trail walking and the sunsets on the beach are beautiful. There are so many beautiful places to visit. A must is Blue Dolphin Charter cruise to the Napoli coast. Food is fresh and check out the food trucks and farmers market... it will not disappoint. Kauai was our favorite island, lush green, beautiful beaches, kind people and just so relaxing... true paradise!!!

I returned to this condominium, 110, after an eight year absence. It was as lovely as I remembered. I love the view from the lanai and the peaceful atmosphere. Whaler’s Cove is a very special property with one of the most beautiful locations in the island.

Very clean, modern Hawaiian decor.Grounds were very well kept and the pool area was immaculate.

No HVAC. The first couple of nights it was difficult to fall asleep as we prefer a cool room . 68 to 69 degrees is our preferred sleeping temperature. During the day time the cool breeze and patio were perfectly matched with the view.

Beautiful location, friendly and efficient staff. Very clean, very comfortable and very well maintained. Only problem, it would get hot in the evening, needs to air conditioning for evening/sleeping. Otherwise a great place for the whole family to visit.
