Whalers Cove in Poipu

We have come to Whalers for over 25 consecutive years. We have enjoyed many of the units but if you get a chance to stay in unit 232 I know it will exceed your expectations! Spectacular view of the pool and ocean. The decor and finishes are magazine worthy. Five star plus for even for the most discriminating taste!

Our suite 130 at Whalers Cove was awesome! Great location, friendly staff and tastefully decorated. We will definitely be back!

Aloha, paradise! Our stay in Condo 131 exceeded our expectations. Beautiful ocean views (we saw dolphins from the balcony) nearby beaches, easy walking and short driving to lots of parks, gardens, restaurants etc. Peaceful and quiet; all you hear is the ocean and the occasional rooster. Staff was warm and friendly. We will be back!!

Whalers Cove is The place to stay while in Kauai. Our family stayed in unit 123, which overlooked the Pacific Ocean. This unit had recently been remodeled and was very comfortable for our family of four. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, the beds were very comfortable, and the view off the large lanai was fantastic. The complex itself is very quiet with beautiful grounds and a nice pool. It is within walking distance of a nice outdoor shopping center and a short drive to Koloa town. All the employees of Whalers Cove are very friendly and helpful, and Marianne is very helpful when we were working out the details of our stay. This was our 6th time staying here, and can't wait to return.

We had the BEST time at Whaler’s Cove! Unit 212 on the ground floor was amazing! We saw turtles every day and loved eating meals out on our lanai. Being from San Francisco where it’s cold at night I was a little worried about not having AC, but we opened the doors to let the afternoon breeze blow through and all slept great with the fans provided. All of the staff were so kind and helpful. The pool and hot tub were great with the waves crashing onto shore right by us! The stars at night were so bright and beautiful, and we got to see some meteors, too. We loved the nearby beaches and farmers markets. There is plenty of great food, shopping and sightseeing nearby. I wouldn’t change a thing about our stay. If you’re debating where to stay, look no further. Whaler’s Cove is a true gem!

Stayed in unit # 123 has best view of ocean on the South Shore Great furniture inside and outside lanai. Kitchen had everything needed.

Phenomenal way to experience Kaua’i! We stayed in two units #136 & #210 for our family of 6 with our adult children. We got to experience the closeness of beaches, shopping, and food within walking or driving distances. #136 is oceanfront and #210 is poolside so we got the best of both worlds at the resort! Great management and amenities provided.

We really liked the condo and pool at Whalers Cove. You can’t stay at a better location on the island than this. Very quiet area to enjoy your vacation. The grounds are immaculate. Walking distance to shopping and food outlets. We had a great time.
