Good location. Clean. Good facilities in the property.

It states that there is an electric car charging point at the property. This charging point was not linked to the specific property I booked but was available to many guests. It was not made clear that there was an additional cost to charge the car. There was no display to indicate how much electricity had been used to charge the car and how much it would cost. The owner, David, suggested we just pay a flat rate of £40 when in fact we had only used about £11 worth of Electricity, which we had to work out ourselves. The second night the car charger had been switched off. We contacted David and he said he had gone away for a few days and there was nobody to switch it back on. So we were not able to charge the car that night. The car charger was switched back on the third night we were there. We used it again, and we had to work out how much electricity had been used and how much it cost. If they are going to advertise that there is a charging point at this property then the cost needs to be made available upfront and they need to know how many kilowatt hours of electricity is being used so the price can be worked out correctly.

Curtain poles let a lot of light into the room through the thin curtains at 0400 Could do with blackout blinds on the bedrooms

Everything, beautiful gardens, quiet just to sat out with a book , the cottage was prefect ,bed so comfortable, kitchen had everything you could want ,we are staying again already booked for next year. I would recommend to anyone.

There was nothing not to like.

Great location for Bempton, Flamborough and Sewerby. Only needed to stay for one night but ideal for much longer as very comfortable and great facilities.
