The Old Stable

I was sad to only stay one night in the granary. I was upgraded to this property and loved the location, luxury and peace of the area. The bed was really comfortable and everything was sparkling clean. It’s a great location for seeing birds and seals at Bempton and Flamborough Head. The owners were kind enough to let me have a later checkout after my long journey. I will definitely stay again

The Old Stable is really well appointed and absolutely immaculate. The owners were on hand in case of any snags (none arose). Perfect location, handy for RSPB Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough Head.

Nothing, it was all perfect.

It was very comfortable, including the beds. Just a couple of small things would have made it even better like a drying up cloth, a teapot was available but no tea cosy, and a small table when sitting watching TV or reading for putting drinks on. I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining, far from it, but little items like these make it easier to look after the property or to tidy up after ourselves. We had to leave dishes on the draining board as we couldn't locate a drying up cloth. But the area is lovely and peaceful, with fields round most of it, but close to the road for easy access. I'd happily recommend staying here, especially for a couple, it may be a bit of a squeeze for 4 people. Thank you David for a lovely 2 night break.

Excellent location for us. 2 mins to bus stops to Bridlington or Flamborough village and headland. Buses hourly. 10 mins walk to Sewerby Hall; Saturday parkrun at hall, 10 mins walk to Danes Dyke wood & cliff walks. Well laid out & well tended outdoor garden space, for afternoon sun. Host came straight round to sort heating controls when requested.

radiator in hall, not adjustable heating. We didn't need it on, only needed radiators in open plan kitchen /lounge on.

Great location. Very close to Dane’s Dyke beach and all Flamborough has to offer, also Bridlington near enough without being too close.
