Alley Garden Homestay Hoi An

the room was clean and the facilities were much much nicer than what we ever expecting for a home stay since it was in a very twisty back alley. The family was AMAZING. They were incredibly welcoming even to the point of inviting us to their family lunch. We had plans so we first tried to politely refuse but they were insistent and we’re so glad we accepted their offer. The one missing member of their family from the meal was the one who had a little English. Since we’re have no Vietnamese it was a fun experience trying to communicate. on top of all this the matriarch of the family kept giving us little treats every time she saw us over the three days—cold water bottles and little plates of fruit. It was like we were staying at our grandmothers house!

Amazing place, really comfortable and overall clean ! The staff is really nice, caring and brings you fruits and drinks when you’re chilling in the common area. Laundry service available and shuttle to the airport of Danang. Breakfast is nice too ! The location is great : not in the old town but close enough in a calm area !

The bathroom was not the cleanest and smelled a bit.

the roosters next door like to yell at weird hours in the night which could wake you, best to request a room closer to the other side of the building (by the pool)

This is probably one of the nicest accommodations that we have ever had The lady and gentleman who own the homestay are really friendly and welcoming, The staff are also very friendly and speak good English. The bedroom that we had was large with a large wet room and had a refrigerator and kettle. The pool is set in a lovely area and the bar/breakfast area is always clean and tidy, beer prices are good too. The Homestay is only a short walk to the bustling city and is in a really quiet area. If we come to Hoi An again we will certainly pick Alley Garden as our number one destination. Please note that the wet room can be slippery but appropriate shoes are provided.

A fantastically welcoming family and a perfect place for small children with a huge ball pit and slides and a pool.

The homestay is amazing! Great facilities, nice pool, delicious breakfast, free bikes (New ones). The owners are so kind, they invited us for lunch with them, and always pampered us with snacks and bottled water. It is also a cafe, so you can get delicious smoothies or hot drinks at any time. We definitely recommend it!
