Please note that In line with the 2025-2026 National Budget measures, a Tourist Fee of Euro 3 per person per night has been introduced by the authorities and this will be effective 01st October 2025. Children under 12 years old are exempted. This tourist fee will have to be settled directly at the resort upon check in. The mandatory Christmas Eve Gala Dinner on 24 December is charged at EUR 130 per adult and EUR 50 per child (from 4 to 11 years old), excluding beverages. The mandatory New Year's Eve Gala Dinner on 31 December is charged at EUR 190 per adult and EUR 75 per child (from 4 to 11 years old), excluding beverages. Please note that restaurant La Plage is temporarily closed until further notice. Guests will be able to enjoy culinary delights at our Le Flamboyant restaurant.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Amazing stay with family, stunning view on Beach, nice location, high hospitality during all stay, the staff very helpful and smiling anytime, high quality of support and assistance, the restaurant is good with a diversity of menus special shout outs to Mr Wassim and Mr Raj for the support and assistance during the stay including the arrangement of outings across the island..

"Best place to relax in a serene , car free resort with best staff and close to many activities"

Location amazingly quiet and resort landscaping is beautiful. The resort, rooms escpecially need some maintenacne but i believe they are short of funds., especially after Covid. But the staff made up for it being exceptionally friendly and helpful. Food variety was good, quality medium, Their open air restaurant lovely set up by pool overlooking the beach. The beach is nice but always very windy. What is great from the Sofitel you are very close to great activities such as The Vanille Nature Park , La vallee des 23 couleurs Park, Gris gris beach, which i highly recommend

1 week of wind not permitting us to use the beach. The south is know for being windy, but if you are going for activities it doen't matter.

The staff at So/Softiel Mauritius were fantastic. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay despite the weather. I want to pass on my thanks to Raj, Vijay , Pradeep, Noora and all the staff at La Flamboyant and La Takamaka for and amazing stay
