Sanu Home stay

It is a very comfortable home, a woman with her two children who welcome you and look after you very lovingly. The owner is very attentive, she helps you with whatever you need and is constantly checking that everything is okay. She has a tuktuk and you can arrange for her to take you to some places, they took me at 5 am to Pidurangala to see the sunrise and then they picked me up at Lion Rock. The room is comfortable, clean and the bathroom has a hot shower and is very good. It has a fan and for me it was enough. Breakfast includes fruit and local foods, super delicious and hearty. It also has coffee, toast, butter and jam if you want it. When I arrived they prepared a delicious dinner for me, 100% recommended.

The truth is that everything is perfect, the best homestay I have ever stayed in.

We had the most amazing and heartfelt stay in Chandrika’s home - we felt like we were one of her own children. They are a family of 3 - Chandrika and her two sons. As we arrived she offered to make dinner for us, which was the best food of our whole trip. She also made the biggest and best breakfast. She drove us to where we needed, as she cared so much for us, that she didn’t want us to walk alone in the dark. We even got Tuk Tuk driving lessons😆 She really went above and beyond for us. She gave us the opportunity to understand the culture even better - she let us try her traditional dresses and she brought us to the temple, where she showed us how to pray. Her sons were the absolute sweetest, and we enjoyed playing with them. The whole stay was so amazing, that we cancelled our stay at Roy’s villa (which is 22€ per night) for one more night at Sanus homestay. We felt so welcomed, that we were sad to leave, and we are keeping in touch. The room was clean and tidy, and it has its own entrance and bathroom. This homestay has everything you need and so much more. Best Homestay in Sri Lanka.

Bardzo polecamy! Cicha i spokojna lokalizacja, czysty i pachnący pokój. Bardzo sympatyczna właścicielka i jej synowie. Pyszne jedzenie i śniadanie na wypasie. Miejsce prowadzone z sercem.

Nuestra estancia en Samu Homestay fue genial. La familia nos acogió como si fuéramos hijos y nos han ayudado con todo. Hemos también desayunado y comido por la noche, todo muy rico, Chandrika es una cocinera maravillosa. Incluso nos acompañó con su tuktuk a la estación cuando nos fuimos. El cuarto (y el baño) es nuevo, recién hecho, lo hemos encontrado limpio y ordenado. El jardín y la casa en general son muy buenos. Recomendado 100!!

Nada, todo era perfecto

Familien vi boede hos var meget venlige og imødekommende. Det var et meget hjertevarmt sted, og vi blev mødt med åbne arme lige fra start til slut. Familien tilbød hjemmelavede måltider og tog os med på ture i byen, og vi spillede spil med de søde børn om aftenen. Alt i alt i en meget autentisk oplevelse hos en sød familie til en god pris.

Der var ikke noget, vi ikke kun lide.
