Sanu Home stay

Super helpful and friendly host and family. The guesthouse is located in a quiet area, which I liked. Breakfast and rice&curry dinner portions were humongous! Room is super clean and was recently renovated!

Hashan und ihr Kinder waren super super sympathisch, warmherzig und hilfsbereit! Wir wurden sehr nett von der ganzen Familie empfangen und obwohl wir nur eine Nacht dort geschlafen haben, halfen sie uns sehr bei all unseren Vorhaben! Das Zimmer ist auch sehr schön, sauber und gemütlich! Auch das Frühstück was im Preis inbegriffen ist war super lecker!! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden immer wieder zu Hashan und ihren Jungs kommen :)! Danke

Great homestay option - the owner and her family are kind and hospitable. The meals are huge with lots of options. Hot water and wifi work well. Just FYI, I misread the booking and thought that dinner was included along with breakfast, but it's not included in the booking.

Chandrika i els seus fills han estat una família molt acollidora i carinyosa. Ens han cuidat molt en tot moment i els esmorzars i sopars deliciosos! L'habitació molt còmoda amb bany privat i envoltada d'un jardí preciós! Molt agraïdes d'haver-nos allotjat aquí i ho recomanem moltíssim!

Geweldig verblijf! Prachtige locatie. We hebben genoten van een fantastisch verblijf in deze fijne accomodatie. De kamer was ruim en heel schoon, de badkamer was top. Een fijne warme douche. Chandrika en haar zoons zijn super hartelijk. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en vers. Het diner was een absolute verrassing. Chandrika bereidt de heerlijkste gerechten met lokale ingrediënten. Haar gerechten zijn smaakvol, vers en met liefde bereid. Chandrika is een topkok. Met Engels en translate konden we goed communiceren. We hebben mooie gesprekken gehad. Chandrika is een super gastvrouw. Ze wil je met vanalles helpen en geeft goede adviezen. Dankzij haar hebben we het heel fijn gehad in Sigiriya. Sanu Home is een echte aanrader!

Sanu homestay was perfect! Chandrika and her 2 sons made us feel so welcome and like part of the family! She picked and dropped us up from the bus and even picked us from a restaurant as she was worried about us walking home at night which was so lovely! The room was super clean probably the cleanest we have had in Sri Lanka! The breakfast was incredible so much food and varied Sri Lanka specialities. We also had dinner as we arrived late and Chandrika cooked some lovely traditional food. This a great example of a home stay, staying here will support a local family! We were super sad to leave thank-you so much!!!

Ons verblijf was boven verwachting. We werden met open armen ontvangen door de lieve host en haar twee zoons. Ze staat altijd voor je klaar. Elke ochtend een tafel vol lekker ontbijt en brengt/haalt je op met haar eigen tuktuk als je wil. De kamer was ook boven verwachting, super schoon mooi en met eigen badkamer en buiten terras. De omgeving is rustig en dichtbij alle restaurants. Echt een aanrader als je wil overnachten bij een lieve familie. Wij missen onze host nu al.

Chandrika and her two lovely, polite children understood how tourism works and how to keep high standards. Everything was at superlative: it was very clean, the bathroom is big and also very clean, we head towels, toilet paper, soap and hot water. The internet had a very good speed. The breakfast and also dinner were absolutely delicious with lots of local dishes and fruits. We stayed a cup of days and the breakfast varied which was great (not many places do this). The house is near the main road in a quiet area with a beautiful garden. In how many places can you take a coconut from the tree, open it and drink it while sitting on the porch and enjoy hearing birds or insects in the night.

It's a very peaceful place. Its environment is ok to spend quality time. Its breakfast was very tasty and more than enough for 2 people. Nice bathroom. Thank you.
