Plas Coch Luxury Barn

- Really liked the location - The mattresses and bedding are incredibly comfy - Tastefully decorated and clean - Good parking

- None of the windows other than the large front one had curtains or shutters so the open-plan layout is often light in both the sleeping areas - A bit stingy with towels, just one fairly small towel per person (did message through the app to ask for another couple to be dropped off but didn't get a reply). - No milk etc in the fridge which (from my experience at least) is generally normal at this price point

The decor and modern design were nice, and the location offers a lovely view of the Snowdon mountains. The bed downstairs was comfortable, and having access to Netflix was appreciated.

The Plas Coch Luxury Barn did not live up to its “luxury” label. There were no complimentary toiletries provided (such as shampoo, conditioner, or body wash), which was disappointing. Cleanliness was a big concern. The barn had a noticeable dog smell, there was dog hair on the floor, and the carpet did not appear to have been properly hoovered. The bathroom fan was also visibly dusty, and the space became damp and musty very quickly. Privacy between the two “rooms” was limited, and overall the space felt quite small. It is definitely not suitable for four adult guests. The upstairs bed was comfortable but had no headboard, which felt a bit unusual. The upstairs window had no blinds or curtains, so we were woken early by daylight, and it was also quite drafty with wind coming through. Small touches like providing sugar or milk would have improved the stay. Overall, we were not impressed, particularly with the cleanliness and comfort, and do not feel the property meets expectations for a luxury stay.

I had an amazing stay here. The place is beautifully designed and feels both modern and cozy at the same time. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. It’s a great spot for a quiet getaway while still having all the amenities you need. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish and relaxing place to escape.

Everything on the property was absolutely stunning, had all the facilities you would ever need even a stove (me and my girlfriend took food to cook) and you could also order to the property if you wish, everything was super clean and the hot tub was amazing and also super clean, bed was super comfortable and the free standing bath my girlfriend couldn’t get enough of couldn’t recommend a stay here enough we loved every second of it.

Only thing we didn’t like was that the hot water runs out and you have to wait for it to come back on but probably my own fault for getting to long of showers 😂

The heater didn’t work downstairs.

We had a nice stay overall — the place was comfortable and in a great location. However, there were a few small things that could make it even better. There were no blinds in the upstairs bedroom or kitchen window, which made it quite bright early in the morning. The cleanliness wasn’t quite up to the standard we expected, and although it was listed that four towels would be provided, there were only two. Despite these minor issues, we still enjoyed our time here and think with a bit more attention to detail, it could be a really great stay.
