Dirty, smelly and left unsafe!

Very little, my room was cancelled last minute without being made aware, although the person at reception was apologetic and said I'd get a refund. That then took over a month to process.

I arrived to find that they had cancelled my booking without notice due to some issue with the room. Upon entering, it was like entering an unwelcoming small house on a residential street, and the hallway had a very unpleasant smell. I'm glad I didn't stay there in the end.

Location was very convenient

The wooden toilet was chipped and could scratch you if you weren't careful sitting down! The ceiling tile above was loose and looked like it would land on you at any moment. The carpet was grubby and the coffee cups were dirty. The whole place was dirty. There were really noisy drunks in the room next door all night (not safe when you have young kids with you!). Someone had dogs that were super noisy every time anyone came in through the front door, even at night. The whole place smelt of wet dog.

Closeness to Le Shuttle

Unfortunately there was a terrible smell as soon as we entered the property which continues all the way up the stairs. The room was very outdated and dusty. Everything just looked like it needed a deep clean and modernisation.
