Sunset view hill jabal shams

House with good views of Jabel Shams. The owner arranged us very nice dinner. He also provided us additional room heater and quickly attended when we had a issue with water supply. We met his cousin Hamood, who is a guide. We did two trips with his which were amazing. One was to the top of Jabel Shams which was new to tourists and the other was to Al Nakkar to see the views from the bottom of the canyon. It was really nice and worth doing with him.

The apartment is well located, about 1 hour an 15 minuts from Nizwa. With an asphalted road all the way to the house (only the final uphill stretch is unpaved). The views are spectacular, especially at sunrise and sunset. The host offers homemade Omani food, very tasty and served hot, for an additional fee — highly recommended. There are no shops or restaurants nearby (at least none that we noticed), so if you don’t plan to order the host’s food or want anything extra, it’s best to arrive with groceries already bought (water, tea, snacks, etc.).

De locatie is top, ongeveer 25 minuten rijden naar de parkeerplaats van Jabal Shams hike. De rit er naar toe was ook erg mooi!

Niet goed gekleed, was wat koud. Maar daarentegen stond er een kachel op de kamer die goed werkte en de kamer in no time warm kreeg.

Great location. Very quiet, and we sat on the hill behind the house to watch the sunset. Very friendly host. We ordered dinner and breakfast which the host brought from home. It was delicious!

Emplacement magique pour le coucher de soleil. sur la route du départ de la Balcony Walk et pour l'observation des étoiles la nuit (peu de pollution lumineuse). Logement parfait pour 4 personnes. Nous avons pris les diners et les petits déjeuners, un peu chers pour Oman mais très bons et très copieux, cuisine maison, nous nous sommes régalés. Excellent wifi. L'hôte est très accueillant et arrangeant.

Maisinnette equipee de 2 chambres avec salles de bain et toilettes privatives, ainsi qu'une cuisine. Située au sommet d'une colline, la vue y est superbe ( couché de soleil.) Idzal pour aller au Jebel Sharm. L'accueil y est cordiale Tres calme... nous etoons au plus prêt de la nature. Presence d'un coffe shop en contre-bas pour acheter de l’eau.

Manque de savon dans les salles de bain Pas de wifi Diner et Petit dejeuner un peu cher compte tenu des plats proposés

- No pool (why is it still declared?) - Need to clean sink drain in the kitchen, water drains very slowly - No wifi (though it was declared too) - Synthetic bed linen sometimes gives you an electric shock - Would be nice to add some tea/coffee to kitchen
