Everything. The owner was lovely. Said he'd give us a discount if we contact him directly next time. You actually do get a breathtaking sunset view, sunrise unfortunately is blocked by a mountain on the east side. There was a space heater in every room, bathrooms were clean with really good hot water. The patio is great to sit in the evenings after watching the sunset. It's location is just at the bottom of the hill leading up to the main Jabal Shams area which is great as its not in the way of tourists coming and going.

it was an easy transaction. good value for money. waleed was so accommodating. location was superb. i excellent location to enjoy the sunset as it fades away behind the the distant mountains on the horizon. close to jebel shams and wadi dam.

We had a great stay at Sunset View Hill! You have the entire house to yourself, and it's located in a peaceful spot between the mountains. From the house, we walked 2 minutes up the mountain to calmly watch the sunset. It's a 20-30 minute drive to the starting point of the balcony walk, which was manageable without a 4WD. We were a bit late returning to the house after the walk and couldn’t check out on time, but the host was very understanding and friendly about it! The breakfast was also very delicious.

The host also offered a traditional Omani dinner, but we found it a bit pricey and decided not to do it.

Detached villa with parking in a quiet location. Fantastic sunset from the neighbouring hill. The price is a bit high, but we got it at a discount, so ok. Since the tourist business in Oman is still in its formative stages, you should be prepared for the fact that the tap in the kitchen is sticking out of a hole in the wall, there is no adaptor for a European socket, and the air conditioning does not work in winter because it is designed only for cooling (however, in winter it is quite cold at night in this mountainous area). Not a bad breakfast (we got it as a genius)

The pool is closed in the winter. The air conditioning does not work in winter (the owner even took away the remote control). For night heating there is one air heater for 2 rooms. The price for transfer to the beginning of the route W6 to Jebel ash-sham -40 reals - voiced by the host, completely inadequate and discouraged the desire to discuss with him other excursions, as well as the price of dinner - 5 reals per person (given that it was about the risk with chicken, their price in local restaurants in 2-3 times lower).
