The distance to walk to collect and return the key didn't make sense. Also, the noise from the building could be heard in the room and I was expecting at least sound sleep when I stay away from home

Got to the shop between 3-5 to get key, was not there rang the contact numbers many,many times no answer! Emailed them multiple times nothing. Continued to send me an automated message the next day!! About an easy checkout. Had to find accommodation elsewhere. DO NOT BOOK THIS!!! It’s a scam

The place is close to other areas

Sheets were not cleaned. Make up stains from previous guests on pillows and hair on the counters. When talking to the property owner Paul, he was rude and said why didn’t you ask for your sheets to be changed. But another person I spoke to was not helping at all and just told me to email the booking. That blue sofa had white stains and there was a stain on the floor. Paul the owner said “microscopic” pictures were not that bad. He is just rude and started the conversation horribly and no sorry at all for his property being dirty.

Layout was good and modern. Location was good and easy to check in and pick up the keys.

The reason I booked an apartment was because I was going to be indoors most of the weekend and thought it would be more comfortable with facilities. However the TV streaming services didn’t work and the host wasn’t very responsive to help, I ended up having to order an Ethernet cable and pick up next day. Also the facilities in the kitchen could have been better, no basics like salt / pepper / oil / foil etc. would be better to have some more basics and better cooking equipment.

the door was broken and would not open or close from outside the apartment, had to climb out the balcony to exit or come back . No hot water was available after the first night. Contacted the owners throughout the trip but no response.

The property was pleasant and quiet. I enjoyed the home as it was cozy, and quite spacious.

As an American, I’m used to doors having extra security and locks. I realize in most UK homes, most doors do not have locks, but I would’ve like to feel more secure.
