Green ijen homestay and tour

The owner was very personable and helpful. Location was good and close to most places of interest. Room and amenities were well maintained and functional.

Absolutely the best stay that I have had during my week in Java.Johan and his nephew are the nicest people I have ever met.So helpful,friendly,they will go extra mile for the guests.I also booked the Ijen tour through them and it was excellent.I would recommend this homestay to everyone ..10/10..I would always come back!Thank you Johan for everything!

Johan was an incredible host. He made me and my partner very welcome and offered lots of advice. Property was spacious and very clean. Great value for money also. A home away from home.

Johan is a great host, he knows the area very well and give very good advice. We decided to take the tour with him and we appreciated the local guide who was a minor before. The house is clean and the breakfast good. We definitely recommand going to Johan place.

Everything was good, the only disagreement was that our room was hot (no AC) but we knew that before. The other rooms have AC.

Green Ijen Homestay is located not so far from the city center. The host is really nice and helpful and he organized the Ijen tour for me and other guests. The house is very nice, there's a lot of space, the room and the common bathroom were clean. I strongly recommend this homestay!

Nice calm place with kitchen facilities. Johan is an excellent host who provides you with lots of what-to- do-locally information. Thanks to this we had a great snorkeling day!

Breakfast served in polystyrene and served way before taking it. But nicely compensated with fresh fruits.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality by Johan and his family, making us feel right at home. The rooms are incredibly spacious, providing us with plenty of comfort and relaxation during our stay. We extended our stay. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast that set the perfect tone for the day. We are truly grateful for the wonderful stay and the genuine care we received. Thank you, Johan and family, for making our visit so memorable. We will be back again, the next time we plan a trip to Bali and mount Ijen is open to the public.

Extended my stay from 1 day to 3 days with this lovely and welcoming family. Everything was perfect. We had a comfortable stay, very warm hospitality, spacious rooms, great location. And even booked Ijen for a day to explore Banyuwangi. Highly recommend as your guide guide to explore the hidden gems, waterfalls, Ijen tour or even the turtles, which I will be coming back again in my future travels. Nothing to fault. All was perfect.

The homestay is very spacious and well located. What makes it really special is Johan, who loves his job and is always cheerful and very welcoming. Take the time to make a tour with him (we have been to Sukamade to see the turtles 🐢 since Ijen is closed), he share a lot about local life and has so many connections! Our kids are fond of him! He does everything he can to make your stay unforgettable! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

A sink in the family room itself would be a plus for Western people like us, but it is totally OK like this.
