The staff are very polite and helpful.. The place is nice and clean and the food is good.

No toiletries were provided.

The hotel is very clean, all the staff are extremely friendly and always willing to help and provide you with a pleasant and reliable stay. It looks exactly like the photos — I’m very satisfied.

I was supposed to stay for 5 days and ended up extending to 15. I loved the rooms, the quietness, the people managing the two villas, and the surroundings. The bathroom in one of the villas could use some renovation, but the water pressure was actually better than in the posher one — so I enjoyed both experiences. It’s close to some excellent restaurants. Totally worth it. Thank you, Sowan, for a wonderful experience in Ubud. 🙏🏻

We had a great stay at Sowan Ubud! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Wayan (the owner) was very helpful - on our first day, he ordered us a delicious local lunch, and we were also able to rent a motorbike directly through him. The pool area is lovely and quiet, perfect for relaxing. It’s a family-run place, and you can really feel the warm personal touch throughout.

The only downside is the location as it’s quiet and peaceful, but you’ll need a motorbike or car to get around.

Super quiet and the pool is really good.

The bathroom was old, is not the same that in the photos. But was clean.

The beds were comfy and the air con was decent and the staff were very friendly!

The room was quite dated and dirty and did not look like the photos online and could have been cleaned. Cobwebs in the corners of the room the curtains had mould and the bathroom was unclean.

The location, hotel territory

I firstly got a room upstairs somewhere in the back, where the WiFi signal was very bad. I asked to changed, they did it without any problems. The room they moved me in was not very good (see the picture) and the worst thing it was so loud, coz right next to it after the wall there is some playground with waterslide for kids. And in the next morning I was woken up by these sounds and the stuff who were cleaning and the people near my room - sound isolation is VERY VERY bad. The whole next day I was feeling so weak coz I didn’t get enough sleep. Doesn’t worth the money I payed, I Ubud there are much nicer places for the same price or cheaper

Relaxing and idyllic environment. It is the people that make the place. The wonderful family that runs the place are the friendliest and most helpful people you'll ever meet. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and help out with sightseeing. Best experience!
