For the price absolutely brilliant. Staff great and the owners who were there would do anything to help. Great night for me.

Poor communication from the bar to the kitchen but this had been rectified by the owners.

Needed a couple of drinking glasses in the room. Huge bucket of cigarette butts suspended on railings outside flat very off-putting.

The room was private and the perfect size for what I needed with good facilities provided and was very clean. Whilst not included, the breakfast the next day is worth paying for. Good quality ingredients for a good price.

It's an old building, so you can hear the pub downstairs clearly. However, it wasn't overly loud (very quiet considering it's a pub) and the majority of the noise stopped by about 8.30.

The room was noisy for as long as the pub was open (could listen in to conversations but after 10pm it was very quiet. The food looked amazing but was not that great. The "chicken fillet" in the burger was reconstituted meat and the cheese was plastic. The chips were good and the salad was nice. Overall for the price I paid the room was very agreeable.

During the pub opening times the conversations could be clearly overheard. The food wasn't great.

It was very smart, I loved the staff and it was a peaceful environment.

You could hear the noise from the pub

Great location and room very clean; 3 chairs available so didn't have to sit on the bed. Good supply of good quality tea, coffee, sugar and milk. Excellent TV and a fan provided (it was a very hot day!). External staircase to access the room was sturdy and an outside light provided so we could safely access the room when returning after 10pm.

Lack of clear surfaces in the room to put our belongings (there were shelves in the bathroom). Although the description mentions the external staircase to access the room, it fails to mention the three steps down to the bathroom. The wardrobe contained a folded metal bed frame and other items which made it very difficult to hang our clothes. Although we expected noise/music we didn't expect music to be playing downstairs in the pub until 1:30 in the morning, we felt this was unacceptable (opening hours listed until midnight).
