EQR Weaver Austin

A great place to stay in Austin. The apartment was extremely clean and very comfortable. Located in a quiet, convenient location. It was nice to have a washing machine and dryer in the apartment and we also enjoyed the pool. Parking made shopping easy and it felt like home away from home.

Decent location only about 1 mile south of 6th St., the main street of bars and restaurants. Decent pool.

The air conditioning didn't cool at all for 3 of the 4 days we were there, with the interior temps up to 81 degrees. The refrigerator and freezer also did not cool properly so we had to use the freezer just to keep stuff cool. The toilet seats in both bathrooms were loose and shifted around during use. The shampoo/bodywash/conditioner dispenser in one bathroom had fallen off the shower wall and leaked out all the contents before we arrived, so nothing for us to use while there. Found a moldy bag of bagels in the sparsely furnished kitchen cabinets. Found a dead roach in one bathroom. Even though the second floor room balcony was overlooking the pool which was surrounded on 4 sides by other apartments there were still a lot of mosquitos. I emailed the apartment to report these issues but heard nothing back, so I then called 2 more times before they sent someone who got the AC working but didn't fix either the refrigerator or toilet seats.

I really liked the location and how quiet it was. The parking was somewhat close to the rooms and it was easy to memorize where I needed to go after we got checked in. The check-in and check-out was really nice too as it was smooth and fast.

It was confusing at first how to get to our room as there was no one at the property to answer questions but they had maps to show how to get to your room. There was an EV charging at the place but how to use it was not shown or told about so we could not use it.

It was a nice place. Didn’t see the pool or any of the other facilities.

Very confusing layout. Didn’t see any staff besides maintenance, which we had to call multiple times because our AC was not working when we arrived. When they came to fix it, it only was fixed momentarily and we had to call them back the next day after sleeping in 83°. they finally fixed it on the last day of our trip. The day of checkout we got locked out of our room because they changed the door code.

The pool and gym are the best features.

There is a health and fire safety issue with the elevator. I got stuck inside the elevator for 90 mins on my first night there. There was a power cut and the alarm within the elevator didn’t work! I had to resort to shouting for help in the hope passers by would hear me. If there was a fire or flood, there would be a possibility of fatalities. Not ideal for a traveller and their first time in the states! This should be flagged as a major non conformity to Health and Fire Safety regulators… The fire service had to come and open the doors by force in the end, who were great by the way but it shouldn’t have gotten to that. I was stuck in the elevator with a guy called Sam who lived at the Art Dilly apartments, he said he would report this to the staff at the desk. Also, when stuck I attempted to call the hosts office and it just rung out multiple times - really not a helpful host. Re comfort, they could have had variety of pillows rather than just 4 really thick and firm pillows. The door key pad is really inactive and doesn’t wake up easily when trying to enter your PIN code to gain access to the room. When I complained they did NOTHING about any of the above. They just want a quick turnaround and your money, unfortunately they’re not interested in any of the important stuff or their customers wellbeing.

I loved it!!!! Will stay again!!!

It was spacious

There’s nowhere to store your luggage if you get there early. The pool is drained and surrounded with caution tape. If you have any issues you have to call and text to get a response and your key code may stop working at any time. Half the gym equipment didn’t work
