"Amazing unique stay"

Me and my family had a beautiful stay here for a few nights. The barn itself was clean, unique, quaint and serene. The views we had over breakfast were amazing. Option for BBQ, delivery of Chinese local to deliver and everything you need to cook a meal. The host Caroline couldn't do enough for you and could tell so passionate about her guest stay being everything they wanted it to be. The cake on arrival fresh coffee was needed after a long journey and we had a few days out to Beamish and Seaham. For sunny days there is plenty of space outside to enjoy sunshine and local walks. For cooler days barn is very cosy inside.

"Very enjoyable property in a beautiful pastoral setting"

Absolultely beautiful property in an amazing pastoral location. After being in big & mid-sized UK cities for 20 days, it was exactly what we needed. I went running on the trails in early mornings and we used the property as a way to decompress from a long trip. The property is very comfortable, clean and well maintained. The attention to detail makes the property very livable.

"A lovely stay in a very welcoming barn"

It was a really comfortable space - lots of space for the 4 of us to spread out! Caroline was delightful and gave us a thorough briefing.. using the log burner, milk and homemade cake were an added bonus. It's only 15 mins outside of Durham so a perfect spot to unwind outside of the city. There are gorgeous views and we enjoyed a cuppa sitting in the sun in the afternoons. We would love to come back again. x

The en-suite shower could do with being a bit more powerful!
