Please note the office and reception team are based at 11 Silver Street, a 2-minute walk from the Town House. Dogs can be accommodated in all room types and additional charges apply. Breakfast is served in the main reception on Silver Street, just a 2-minute walk from the accommodations. Please state at time of booking if car parking is required, charges apply. Spaces cannot be guaranteed if not reserved in advance. Car parking spaces are only suitable for small to medium sized cars due to limited space. For guests arriving after 17:00, check-in arrangements must be made before 15:00 on the day of arrival. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. "No frills, budget bargain but no WiFi"

Bed was comfortable.

There is no WiFi, despite this being repeatedly referenced as included. The shower did not work, would not turn on.

"Excellent value for money"

The room was clean and well laid out. I've stayed in places 5 times as expensive that have been worse. Yes, there were a couple of bits of peeling paint, but in the corners and it didn't impact our visit at alll.

Location

The hotel, where do I start. I came to this hotel for the weekend as it was my daughter's 17th birthday, however it was totally ruined due to this disgusting hotel. When we arrived it was horrible, we couldn't open the window and there was a broken chair which the handy man came round later that evening to open the window and took the chair away because it was broken, which he didn't return, he also tidied up the bathroom because it was dirty. When he left we soon realised there was more serious issues with this hotel the plug socket was broken, the shower was broken and spilling water Ll over, there was a big blood stain underneath the sheet which we was unaware of until the 2nd night because there was also bed bugs in the bed which resulted us coming home early hours and myself and daughter not sleeping because bugs was running on the bed. I phoned up loads of times to inform them off this and there didn't offer us alternative accommodation. It was absolutely disgusting and it spoiled our time away because my daughter was so distressed we had to come home. I am currently making a complaint and taking this further. I have requested a full refund and compensation due to the distress this caused which resulted in us coming home early. I have lots of photos and videos for evidence too

Good value great for a short stay, unlimited blue badge parking outside, good location

No hooks or towel rails bathroom, no hooks or rails bedroom
