Klein Doorn Farm Stay

Location, views, trails, nature, outdoor shower, bath, dog friendly, beautiful decor and finishes, open space.

Bats in roof that make noises at night and poop on beds. Dishes weren't clean. Shower didn't drain. Indoor fireplace didn't circulate the smoke out properly. Cottages are relatively close to one another.

So remote and private. Utterly peaceful.

How quiet it was on the farm. Everyone was super friendly on the farm and we were even allowed to enter the main farm property to look at zebras.

I would have loved if I can use my hair dryer but unfortunately they run on solar so you are only allowed to charge devices. The shower temp was either too warm or too cold and because the shower is outside it's very cold if you shower at night. Maybe an extra suggestion is to get comfortable outside furniture. We spent all our time outside and if there was comfortable furniture it would have been perfect!

Pretty cottage with good facilities. Fantastic position with lovely walks on the farm that are dog friendly.

The access road for all the other guests is right in front of each cottage’s stoep. It would have been less intrusive if it ran behind the cottages.

This was great destination to just light a fire , drink a glass of wine and just relax .

The comfortable coach on the stoep The bed was covered to keep it from dust or goggas The cold water and ice in the friedge

Only one plug for a hairdryer would help

We liked the Karoo - Farm. Beautiful area.

a Bid far from town. Would appreciate room service and more wood.

Loved the cottages, very cute!

Would've loved it if bug/mosquito repellant spray is provided.
