Luray RV Resort on Shenandoah River

Comfortable and clean!!! So cute

Enjoyed our stay, very quiet and pleasant.

New facilities and really nicely built.

They had no blankets. This was not explicitly mentioned on their website or on our booking. Having no blankets in the middle of October was very uncomfortable.

The property was gorgeous and looked new and clean.

We were the only ones in the tents and were put in the one furthest from parking and closest to the road noise.

Whilst we didn't have much info in terms of check in times (our flight was massively delayed and we arrived just before 11pm in the end) and were unable to connect with anyone on our journey from the airport as it was after hours. They had very helpfully left our check in info and keys on the board outside the reception building so we were able to find our chalet and settle in for the night. The facilities were good, lovely setting with the river easily accessible. The pool was great, especially for kids, and the team in the reception building were very helpful in answering our questions. Beds were comfortable and it was really lovely having the front porch with bug netting to protect the outside space for evening relaxing.

I think the photos make the chalet out to be somewhat more spacious than it is, but we managed! It would be good to have more walking paths between the pool/playground and the chalet area, we walked lots over the course of our stay, but there were large RVs moving around (as you'd expect) and having a footpath/sidewalk would be a good use of the space that is plentiful.

Loved the cabin. Just the right size. Great that they allow pets and have golf cart rentals. Property was very well laid out and had plenty of amenities.

A little expensive. Cabin was not completely cleaned. One bedroom did have linens on the beds. No bedspreads on all beds and no blankets🙁

Kitchen,not enoug utencils to cook We thought it was a cabins but resulted to be a clamping tent which I learn once we got there. When doing reservations it did not give the choice to put it keep sharing the picture of a cabin something like that We work it out and the family got a good time.love they allowed pets Thank you

What an amazing place!! We stayed in the deluxe cottage and it was perfect for our family of four. The campground is nicely landscaped and maintained. We booked another stay for the 4th of July when we checked out because we love this place so much! We look forward to warm weather on our next stay so we can enjoy the water park which looked really nice.
