Pili Pili Beach House

A nice hotel in front of the beach, good quality for money

There was no air condition in the rooms and we had a problem with the water from the baths. We had problems with the communication with the staff from the reception and the restaurant, we could not be completely understood and we had to explain what we wanted over and over again

Restaurant took to long for food, beach was very dirty in the morning nobody clean, waitress was giving attitude

Bit small/ busy by pool but still lovely

Beachfront location, swimming pool, we had the ground floor room which opens up onto the swimming pool and the Indian Ocean is right there. Excellent choice of breakfast, everyone was really welcoming and ready to help. We checked in 2:30am in the morning and that was no isssue.

We found the hotel really safe, secure, friendly and welcoming but my partner feels a safe deposit box in the room would be nice.

The beachfront view is breathtaking, The staff were friendly, the made everything beautiful given that we had a romantic dinner plans, Victor came to enquire what we would want and how we wanted it, he made our stay very comfortable and worth it. The hotel is in the Swahili setup in a local village in Zamzibar and that gives you the privilege to explore the day to day activities there and the swahili cultures.

The location is tricky as we came in at night and had difficulties reaching the hotel, we got lost several times and the person at the reception was not picking calls untill around 4am.

The staff was great. The chefs, Ombeni, Marie, Peter, or Eric, were very attentive to details and made my stay comfortable. On the day of the checkout, I got a nice breakfast u like the days before. The cleaning ladies were also very good.

The first two morning breakfast choices were limited, and the menu was the same. Maybe instead of menu based, buffet may work as guests can be able to have a choice.
