Central position. Good food and bar. Local restaurants and walking country.

Parking - short stay only. One of those things.

Lovely location and decent room

No Wi Fi in the room they need to put boosters in. These aren’t dislikes but feel they should be mentioned. You have to go over the road to a cafe for your breakfast 9-30/11:00 am where they have a deal that entitles you for up to £15 PP for your breakfast anything over that and you have to put the extra to it. Parking near the pub is limited to 1hr. There is a pay as you leave car park about 200 mts away

Had to ask for heating to be put on every night( on last 4 nights of October??) Bathroom sink would not drain, went down for evening meal at 7-45pm was told finished serving (hotel guide in room says food stops at 9pm) cobwebs on window frame with dead flies, we were only guests staying so not a good experience

The situation, the staff very friendly and helpful. Bedding and towels were clean

The cleanliness of the room, mainly the windows and floor was not very good. The window frames very dirty.

Breakfast was good first day. Second day we had a reservation for breakfast organised by the staff, at the cafe across the square. The King Arms was shut on MONDAY.

We asked for extra teabags and milk from staff on the Monday morning. We had none in our room. We saw a notice telling where to get extra supplies. Unfortunately there was no milk. So we were unable to have a cup of tea in the morning. Couldn't ask staff because the pub was shut. .

Great location, easy check in and out, lovely room and bathroom.

A little noisy from the pub until it closed. I should have expected that staying directly above the bar so a minor criticism.
