The Kings Arms

The new refurbished suite met the new chef.food was excellent. Met the new chef.cheryl temporary manager was lovely friendly. Its a shame might ot be there when we return. Staff was also very helpful. The name and suite I have put it i Facebook..value for money.

Nothing we didn't like...but agreed with Cheryl the inside could do with just a paint job..the ceiling looks dark.a white paint job would lighten the lounge up..walls too.a deep lean if not had one...pictures etc.

Great central village location, Aran the Manager went above and beyond to assist us. Lovely friendly staff, great food and tasty breakfast with nice thick cut bacon. Wordsworth suite was huge with very comfy bed.

The Kings Arms is a wonderful Pub that has some really nice accommodation but most importantly of all it has brilliant staff which are all lead by one of the most likeable people you will ever meet. Aaron could not have been more attentive to us throughout our stay and its clear that his personality and focus on customer satisfaction is what makes The Kings Arms a place we want to return to time and again. We were lucky enough to catch the hotel on a quiet weekend, so when we checked in we were grateful to be offered and upgrade in Bedrooms by the owner to the wonderful Wordsworth room from the smaller yet still very impressive Keats room. The Wordsworth has a very impressive 4 Poster Bed and a huge amount of space to relax very comfortably. The only thing I would add to the room would be a mini fridge for the travelers who want to enjoy an ice-cold wine whilst relaxing in the beautiful bath. The pub itself is very friendly with a great selection of beers and wines, and the food (especially the fish and triple cooked chips) were perfect and really well priced. Our Room included breakfast, and this really didn’t disappoint, a great selection of cereals and then a freshly cooked full English to set you up for a perfect day of walking or just a stroll around this wonderful village. We will be back to enjoy The Kings Arms again and wish this business all the very best for the future and look forward to seeing Aaron and his team again.
