Placement in Village.

Everything This Tells it all went for a Birthday Treat for my Husband. Arrived on the 22nd November 3 days 4nights stay we left on the 23rd My husbands Birthday not 24 hrs After giving the list of complaints to a staff member who said will get a manager to ring agreed it was not good still waiting 26th November I rang on Monday thought give them the weekend no answer to 3 different nos and when I looked at the web site they close till Wednesday so I will ring them then. below a picture of where they expected guest of this room to place their clothes. have others bathroom door that cannot clothes shut etc but you get the message. the video gives a better one.

Location, food and drink. Great room.

Great location in village centre. Great breakfast/really nice coffee on day one though not all supplies had been ordered in so the staff member on duty the next day had to go out to get them. Comfy bed, clean linen and towels.

The room was cold for most of my stay in November. Heating came on a little on the morning of my second day but I was leaving anyway. The stairs up to the room and the bar area for eating breakfast didn't smell good and stair carpet wasn't clean. Finding a note on a security cage at 8.20am barring access to the bar area for breakfast on the second day, saying that breakfast was in a cafe across the road from 9am (it said pm on the note). The cafe was closed until 9.30am so I was delayed in my plans, and the breakfast there wasn't as good as in the pub. This hadn't been mentioned to me on arrival so I can only guess that there is poor management of the place. Also, I didn't like being in the building alone on the second night. That didn't feel safe.

No breakfast menu to choose from, no storage in bathroom for toiletries

Old property with character. Clean comfortable bed. Great bar staff and good evening music.

Poor food with too much garlic, limited breakfast offering with no menu which also included tomatos and mushrooms swimming in garlic and limited choice. Small bathroom with black dirty bathmat and poor towels. Very poorly light room. Cancelled last day of our stay.
