We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage. It was a good base to explore the surrounding area and was close to Shaftesbury town centre.

Beautiful location. Garden and outside space glorious. Hosts gracious and charming. Cottage superbly situated and beautifully presented. Wonderful touches throughout and a lovely welcome pack.

To be honest the one thing that prevents an excellent rating on all counts was the size of the shower. We are average sized folk but still found it a little challenging! Having said that we managed so it did the job.

Interesting old cottage in very convenient location

Quite cold but heating supplemented by log burner. Outside space not available.

We did not expect any food items to be left for us, so it was a lovely surprise to find and enjoy beautiful and freshly laid eggs, together with a few other thoughtfully gathered food items. The cottage is sympathetically and beautifully furnished and the beds are incredibly comfortable. There is a pretty and well kept garden to look out on to - all in all, very relaxing.

We couldn't fault anything at all. We felt very fortunate to have been able to stay in such a terrific cottage which is clearly kept to the highest of standards. We would love to stay again in the future if possible.
