Nanny and Chips House

The house met our expectations.The bedrooms are large and comfortable.The washing machine and large fridge freezer is also very handy.The fish and chip shop a few doors from the house is excellant and good value compared to the town.

The bedrooms could do with a small set of draws and the shower cubicles a shelf of some sort to hold shampoo and soap.Having to put these things on the shower base whilst showering is not very good.A brush and dust pan would also be useful. This house is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems as getting to the town centre and harbour is down rather steep hills.

Location was great, a bit tricky to park but we found a good place on the street! So close to the town centre would be an easy walk and a quiet and friendly part of town. Brilliant value for money, had everything we could need as a family of 5! Host was communicative and friendly.

Parking on street but we had 2 cars and was able to park both right outside so no problem for us

Great location street parking was available. House was set with a Christmas tree and lights it was a lovely place to spend a Christmas night in whitby.
