Cottage at The Butchers Arms

Homely atmosphere, very well equipped and the host supplied , milk, juice, soda bread and more allowing for a good breakfast the following morning.

A little more remote than we expected for our needs but ideal for a quiet get away. Having a dog made it harder to eat out.

Perfect half way stop on the way to South Wales. Nice and quiet but within short driving distance for day visits to Tewkesbury and Gloucester. Cottage was ideal for a couple and very clean with all the usual facilities. Some provisions provided which was a nice touch. Will definitely come again.

Cottage belongs to local pub The Butchers Arms which unfortunately is closed part of the week and only open with restricted times. Although these are all listed on their Web site.

This is a gem of a location in a beautiful setting. Breakfast was lovely.

Everything you’d need for a perfect getaway. It’s dog friendly with it’s own garden and very friendly, accommodating hosts.

jo was a wonderful host , the cottage was delightful and the little welcome treats were lovely the bed is incredibly comfortable and everything is of a very good standard the garden was lovely and a great space to sit and if you have a dog it is all enclosed I wish we could have stayed longer.

It was absolutely perfect! The personal touches were so thoughtful and cosy by the lovely owner! She was so accommodating and rushed to get cottage ready for check in to be able to attend a wedding in time (but through a post code error we couldn’t even maximise it). It was so comfortable, everything that we needed and in perfect location for a wedding at Pauntley Court. Jo-Anne was so wonderful - and was grateful to meet her in the morning to share thanks, as well as the lovely staff in the pub a stone’s throw away! Wish we could have stayed for longer and will most definitely be coming back

Lovely little cottage, with all facilities you'd expect. Beautiful countryside and the Butchers Arma pub next door was fabulous, great quality food and drink.

Staff were so friendly and made you feel so welcome. The food was excellent. Loved it and want to go back sometime and explore the area
