Cottage at The Butchers Arms

Lovely location and very clean and well appointed. The bed is so comfy. Special touches like home made soda bread and jam and milk in the fridge on arrival made me feel very welcome. Owner come to say hello on arrival too and was lovely.

Lovely cottage ideal for a break away from it all. The host Jo was great and there’s a pub on your doorstep (the food there was amazing too!). We took our dog with us and it was nice having a fully enclosed garden for him to run about safely. Will definitely come back for another stay!

Everything, the scenery, the view, the cottage was beautiful, the calmness of the location, the host was very welcoming.

There was nothing that we did not like.

The Area around the cottage was lovely for having a stroll after we arrived, we really enjoyed it and felt comfortable. The homemade bread and jam was really nice too, thankyou for a comfortable overnight stay.It was all very nice

What a gem! Fab location, next to a great pub. Jo was charming and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Our dogs were warmley welcomed and had safe garden space. Well furnished, very comfortable. Love it!

The property is perfect size for a couple and a dog. It was clean, bright and warm. The kitchen has everything you need, including some little treats left by the owner. The espresso coffee machine was a nice touch, thank you. The bathroom facilities were everything you'd need and the space in the bedroom was perfect for your suitcase and stuff, and the dresser was a welcome sight for getting ready in the morning. The little garden is perfect for an even meal or a morning coffee. Having the pub next door was a real plus.
