"Very enjoyable just what was ordered to recharge our batteries. Food in Butchers Arms was excellent."

10.0

Bed was very comfortable. Quiet location, with private parking. Beautiful countryside and within easy reach of Tewkesbury, Gloucester and Cheltenham. Food in adjacent pub was excellent and staff were very pleasant.

Would be better with a proper door curtain or blind for front door as people using pub car park could see in at night.

"If you want to have a nice and peaceful weekend stay away from the busy town life, this is the place"

10.0

We liked everything about this place. We wanted a couple of quiet days and we got exactly that at this cottage located in a countryside. It was rainy but still managed to take our dog for a walk. Loved our stay.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The cottage was very well equipped and included essentials for breakfast, all of which were great! Easy to get and within a 15 min drive of Tewkesbury.

"Amazing can't recommend highly enough"

10.0

The cottage is amazing. It's so cute, comfy amd homely. All the cupboards and fridge were well stocked with milk, fresh orange juice, still water, sparkling water, a bowl full of individual butters, a loaf of bread, individual jam and honey portions, little cute boxes of cereal (although need 2 boxes for one bowl but plenty of choice), tea, coffee, sugar lumps and probably more I've forgotten. Jo has thought of everything even down to laundry powder for the washing machine, it really has everything you would need. Jo was so friendly over messages even when I explained we were delayed arriving (by 4hrs) due to traffic and she was so caring when we did arrive and she saw my partner had a bad knee, asking if he needed anything or if she could do anything for him. Honestly she was lovely. The cottage is now firmly on our list of favourite places to stay and we are already hoping to make a return visit later in the summer if possible.

The only thing I would suggest is to change the sugar lumps to normal sugar as we couldn't sprinkle the lumps over our cereal. I would say the hunting photos in the lounge are a bit risky as not everyone agrees with nor appreciates the hunt and the history behind it and they could upset some people. Personally I understand the area has a rich history of hunting however not everyone will.
