"Very suitable whether visiting in summer, autumn or winter."

Spacious and consisting modern equipment and well thought out furnishings. Guests are provided with a 55 inch smart tv, a sound system and full fibre broadband. Add to this you have a well equipped and recently refurbished fitted kitchen consisting double fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven, toaster, kettle etc. The bathroom is again recently refurbished and though down 2 steps, is provided with a handrail for safety purposes. Lounge and bedroom exude a country house feel with original newly varnished wood flooring, high ceilings and a mix of dark blue and white colours offset by dark red rugs. The heating is superb and the new radiators are off the type that complement this edwardian era building. When drawn the heavy quality window blinds supported by efficient heating make this apartment extremely cozy as the nights draw in, whilst in spring and summer you have the very private garden to relax in with sun loungers and table/chairs to use. Furnishings have also been updated since the provided photographs were taken and the lounge now consists a large leather sofa and a comfortable matching chair. Guest will also find several throws should they be required. The hosts live just across the hallway and it was clear that guest satisfaction is high priority. A previous reviewer made reference to the excellent location of this apartment and one can only agree. At the same time some research via google maps is suggested, as there are several roads to choose when leaving the apartment. Would recommend knowing the way beforehand to the Beacon Shopping complex (M&S, Boots, Sainsbury's etc), Tesco Express down South Road, the Pier seafront, and Cornfield Road bus stop if visiting Brighton or Seven Sisters country park (same 12X bus). Alternatively I am sure the hosts would advise when at the apartment. All in all we certainly enjoyed our weeks stay at Flat 2, 4 College Road. An experience not to be missed.

Possibly a dish that accommodates making a meal for 2 persons and can be used in oven or microwave. A small matter that does not detract in away from this quite special place.

Spacious, beautifuly decorated, period house right in the city centre close to shops, bars, restaurants. Spotless clean. Friendly hosts. Will definitely be back.

"Beautiful Spacious Flat"

Beautiful spacious flat ideally located close to both town and beach. This is our second visit and we made the most of the weather with the sun loungers which were left out which was a nice touch.

Very clean and tidy, comfortable and ideally positioned for the coast, pubs and restaurants. Very well equipped and the garden with sun loungers was an added bonus. Communication with the owners was top draw. Very highly recommended

"Lovely flat - perfect for couples"

This flat is absolutely stunning! It’s been beautifully finished and is fully equipped. It’s perfect for couples. It’s just a short walk from the pebble beach, the theatre (which was the main reason we came here), local shops, and a modern shopping centre. The cherry on top was the private courtyard garden. It’s beautifully planted, walled, and private. There’s even a large sun umbrella to provide shade in the hot weather. It felt like we were sitting in a Mediterranean courtyard. It was lovely sitting and reading with a glass of wine out there. We also ate the meals we had at the flat outside on the good weather days.

Location between the train station and Devonshire Park was perfect. The private sitting out area at the back was so nice, unexpected and quiet despite being close to the hustle and bustle of Little Chelsea.

Maybe some milk in the fridge would have been a welcome addition after a long journey.
