Ocean View House -Connemarra

We enjoyed the view and the location. It is a comfortable house for a group of six adults.

There was only one pillow each in the main bedroom. The hand soap dispensers in both bathrooms were broken. There was very little toilet paper for a house that can accommodate 8 people. The towels can be replaced with newer, bigger towels and maybe include extra towels. There was only one kitchen towel provided.

The location was perfect and the views are fantastic. The beach is just a short walk from the house. We really enjoyed our stay, hope to be back again soon.

There was nothing we didn't like.

We visited this place duirng Christmas times. The location is absolutely stunning and situating in a peaceful neighbourhood. We requested to facilitate extra glasses and utincils prior our visit there and Len was so generous to kept everything ready on the day we arrived. The place was super clean, cosy even without much need of heaters on winter times. The house is big enough to fit to 8-10 people with kids easily. The location would be much nicer during the summer and we have no second thoughts of revisiting in summer again. We had good relaxing time thanks to Dave and Len !

Everything were absolutely satisfying except there was a heating system issue had happend just before the day we left. But that was a minor thing and Dave tried his best to fix it.

Location was absolutely stunning. Gorgeous views and easy access to walk down to the sea, and walk to the local pub that did delicious pizzas! Very close to Spidal and a Tesco also 5mins away so easy to get what you need. The bedrooms were a good size and true to the photos. The sitting room was cozy and would be lovely if you were lighting the fire (it was roasting the weekend we stayed). The dining room was also a good size and fit the 5 of us comfortably.

The house felt like it might have a damp problem. We were there for a really sunny weekend and you could still feel it but it did look like it may have recently been decorated so maybe it's a problem they've recently tackled. The wardrobes and drawers were very wobbly in some of the rooms and the kitchen didn't have great crockery or utensils etc but we didn't spend that much time in the house so it was okay. They were doing building work on the grounds so there wasn't really anywhere to sit outside comfortably which was unfortunate because the location is so gorgeous. We took picnic blankets from the car and sat on some concrete blocks which was still nice.
