Ocean View House -Connemarra

Bed linen and towels were of an excellent quality. Inside was lovely, clean and well maintained and is picture perfect for a booking website photos

I feel this property may have been listed too early as It’s a construction site outside the front and back doors. The TV wasn’t connected to an aerial and no information for Netflix etc. radiators are installed but no instructions on how to use them. The tiles in the bathroom are extremely slippery with such a high bath to climb in and out of and dangerous as bath mats etc don’t hold on their glossy surface. Kitchen cooking equipment -saucepans, frypans etc - not big enough/suitable for a large group in a 9bed house. Limited cooking utensils, no basics such as tongs, a spatula etc. 20 different sized water/drink glasses but only 1 oversized wine glass. A security ??? light outside one bedroom window that was on all night, lighting up the room like the middle of the day. A coffee machine but no instructions or pods. 2.5 toilet rolls provided for a booking of 5 for 2 nights.

It was a nice location. The inside of the house matched the photos.

It was disappointing we were not advised about the construction around the property. We had different construction people outside the house throughout the stay which was uncomfortable as we traveled with a toddler. It was a fine place however didn’t meet expectations regarding price. We had to buy our own toilet roll, kitchen foil, dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent. The house had a very strong damp smell. And the main bathroom had black mold. We brought frozen food prior to check in and the freezer was not working so some of the food went to waste.

Beautiful location

Lack of wine glasses, no sweeping brush for the floors, skeleton cooking utensils, check out at 10am sharp, onsite work going on at 8am ish with noises of building machinery.

Spacious, clean, comfortable beds, plenty of parking space, quiet with lovely sea views, great stay for a group.

No plugs by beds for lamps etc. Seems like work still in progress. Only 2 wine glasses. No mirrors in bedrooms

Bedside cabinets with electrical plug ins and lamps would be good.

The location was really beautiful. The house is spacious and well-equipped (the kitchen is furnished with everything). Everything was clean. There is a nice pub, 10/15min walking distance.

It would have been nice to have two plugs per bedroom (one on each side of the bed) instead of one, and two bedside tables.
