Ocean View House -Connemarra

Location - short walk to the sea with sea views from the accommodation

The property is undergoing building work, the outdoor area is unsafe for children. Whilst we were able to check in early it wasn’t made clear a digger would be working right outside the door. Whilst the owner offered a refund if we didn’t want to stay this wasn’t an option at short notice Easter weekend for 8 people. Inside plugs located in the wrong place.

Very spacious house with ocean views out from window. 2 minutes walk to the ocean. Excellent location for sight seeing and close to Galway. Big bath and under floor heating and all necessary amenities. Local pub nearby and fantastic/welcoming people.

Some renovations outside the house which spoiled the view a little bit.

The property was very good, and Dave and Len were very helpful.

It was very clean, comfortable and everything worked perfectly. It was nice and warm too with fully stocked presses.

Was very comfortable, plenty of seating and extra blankets. Great views. Responsive owner’s.

Would have been nice to have a compiled book explaining things about the house, owners were responsive and kind but I felt bad needing to reach out.

Clean, spacious, comfortable and good value for money. Showers were great. Extra table and chairs provided, wouldn’t change a thing!

The property is in a very quiet location and was perfect for us to travel about Connemarra. Inside it was spotlessly clean and comfortable which is always a plus.

Outside the property looks like it is a work in progress. Unfortunately the hosts didn't mention that there is building works going on around the house. Unfinished patio, no garden area. If it had been the summer months it would have been very unpleasant to sit outside. It states that it is Ocean View, this is only possible if you take a stroll down the lane. There was quite a few items that seemed to have been left over from previous guests, opened jam, sauce etc. which is not particularly nice. The inside of the house was comfortable but lacked some attention to detail.

Location, ease of check in.

Wall plugs in bad location, bedrooms had lamps that you couldn't plug in.

The four-slice toaster and the bin.

Building works on site, the artificial plants, artificial air fresheners, no bedside lockers or lamps, poor location of sockets in bedrooms. Not good value for money overall and very disappointing in general.
