Spacious City Centre Apartments at Lexington Gardens by HF Group

flat was very clean and tidy. beds were comfortable

1. when I booked it, the add said it had parking. On the day of the booking I got a message saying parking was on the road around the state. when i got there everywhere was busy and I had to park quite far away and on the road. When I called to ask for the parking, they said they didn't have private parking available anymore but I was never informed of this. then I also noticed they changed the info of the flat an they put that they didn't offer parking anymore. 2. there was no hot water. I messaged the property and didn't get a response. 3. I asked the property if we could have a late checkout knowing they didn't have anyone else coming in that night, and straight away the answer was that I needed to pay an extra night. I could understand the late checkout, but we went only for one night and having to park so far away and not have hot water made our stay very uncomfortable.

Very clean, spacious, towels provided were great.

£300 deposit for 1 night stay is too much. Pick up location of the keys is very difficult. Too much personal information required for booking. Explanation of key fob wasn’t given to us so we struggled to enter the property with the gates etc.

The location was good as it was close to the city centre and public transport systems.

The host was extremely unprofessional, answering every call with a terrible attitude. They refused to provide updates about check-in times or address other issues. Moreover, the host lied about having our iPad, which we accidentally left at the property. He claimed the cleaning staff had not found it, but it was miraculously discovered the next morning. Had we not called, the host would have kept our property. I strongly caution future visitors, as you risk losing your belongings

This is an absolute scam, this host is more than happy to take your money and deposit. However when you arrive, he will not answer any phone calls or provide you with any check in details, so essentially you will stuck outside and then later on marked as a ‘no show’. Instead of giving you a refund theyll charge you a ridiculous cancellation fee nearly the same as the booking itself! Customer support won’t even bother with ur request and basically tell you its out of there hands. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Very good location to the town centre the property spacious n comfortable stay

The apartment was spacious and clean. There is a co-op outside along with a Greggs that you can buy food and other goods from. I liked that it was reasonably located to city centre so uber was fairly priced.

The host didn't make it easy to pick up the keys for the apartment. I had to stop the car in an unsafe place to pick up keys, whilst I had my son with me. Very difficult process and no where to stop on the A-road where the shop is.

It was clean and perfect location.

Collection of keys was not the same as stated on booking. Hot water kept running out.

Good location and for the money it is fine. Just fine. Nothing more than that.

The pickup process with the keys feels very clunky and could be improved on. The portal link also didn’t work and they make you submit a lot of personal info which seems odd and a bit suspect. I did call prior to the trip to confirm a few bits of details and the gentlemen’s telephone matter is much to be desired….verging on hostile and like it was an inconvenience. The apartment was clean and tidy when we arrived but did smell of stale smoke.
