Spacious City Centre Apartments at Lexington Gardens by HF Group

Very clean and comfortable apartment.

The apartment itself was nice, clean, spacious and in a great central location.

Firstly it took an hour to get the keys, the host blamed traffic for the housekeeper not returning the keys to the pick up location in time, but even in the traffic there was no reason for the keys to be a whole hour late...the apartment under half a mile away from the pick up location. Then on entering the apartment, it reeked of weed which, when a member of the group is pregnant, really isn't acceptable. There was also a blood stain on the spare duvet!

Very clean and modern. Parking was easy. Equipped with everything we needed.

Pillows could have been upgraded (very lumpy). Sink in main bathroom broken. Had to enter a clean air zone to pick up the keys which meant a £14 charge. Not aware of this when booking.

Key collection was from a shop at a distance. At 11:30 in the night, I did not really want to travel afar to collect keys. To top it up, finding the apartment was like a treasure hunt. The details in the message were not clear enough. Lastly, you need to first get into the apartment, get a remote that opens the door for your car to come inside to park. That's a hassle in itself. On top of that, the remote was not there in the property. I had to park my car on a nearby street where there was free parking. But that was a bit of a walk, at midnight. All in all, it's not really a comfortable and easy arrangement. Lastly, the number I was given to contact in case of access issues, was not answered when I did call.
