Bright 2 Bedroom Apartment near Seafront Central Penzance

Great communication by the hostess (Hannah) apartment was very clean and comfortable, end off the road was the beach which was great.also no problem parking and was dog friendly. Would definitely return.

Location

For us the location was great, between the centre of Penzance and Newlyn. pleasant walk through parks either way.(15 to 20 mins) Useful Lidl nearby. The flat was very clean and well equipped. Good communication with host

The hall unlike the photo was cluttered, it seemed to be used for storage of all the extras like z beds etc that may be required in the other flats. Although new furniture and appliances etc had been bought they were layered on the tired wall and floor coverings of a previous era. The bathroom was small as mentioned in previous reviews and yes it was very small!! if you were above average height and width it might pose an issue. for us the main problem was the poor lighting and mirrors which made shaving etc extremely difficult. The bed was not as pictured it had a mattress that sunk in the middle, so we kept rolling into each other. The last night I slept on the sofa.

Plenty of space and comfortable beds

Black cooker difficult to read the dials in dim light no instructions for the cooker or any other electrical goods .No safety features in the bathroom like a non slip mat in the shower and no rails to hold on while showering as I’m 86 I found it unsafe to shower .Also the heat of the water was too hot so not so easy to wash hands after using the toilet in wash basin. I couldn’t sit on the sofa as it was so low and difficult to get up from.I was glad of the armchair the bedroom .

Living/ dining area and bedrooms were spacious. Street parking was always available. With a little extra effort and attention to detail this could be a nice place.

The bathroom was tiny, lacked decent mirror, power point or lighting you could see by. Lounge seats were far too low and uncomfortable. No kitchen dishcloths. No washing machine powder - we bought our own, and no instruction manuals for anything. A map of the area would have been very useful.

Die Lage war ganz gut. In der Nähe gab es Frasers Fish and Chips- super lecker. In ca. 6 Minuten war ein Lidl.

Das Haus und die Wohnung sind insgesamt sehr heruntergekommen. Auch die Möbel sind bunt durcheinander gewürfelt, das ist zwar kein Problem, aber alles ist alt und verwohnt. Bei den Betten spürt man jede Feder- extrem unbequem. Jeden Morgen hatte ich Rückenschmerzen.

The property is great and spacious just if the weather is too hot and they dont have fan.
