Unique Cottage Next to Wildlife Park - Sleeps 6

It would have been nice to have a bedside lamp in the twin room, also a bigger kettle and cafetiere. But otherwise, it was fabulous. We're going to try to come next year.

The cottage is amazing. Spacious, beautiful and inviting. The garden is huge and it is in a perfect quiet location. I loved hearing and seeing the birds, its so lovely to be surrounded by wildlife and the road is so quiet. We love it here! Thankyou to the hosts also for the milk, butter, tea, sugar etc :)

Nothing, everything is perfect and we would come back again.

Very large property, loved the kitchen/dining/living room with views of the countryside. Not overlooked by anyone. Plenty of kitchen equipment to use. Great communication from Tracy the owner. Despite some of the things we didn't like, we really liked the property & would stay again.

The TV on the wall in the lounge was so high it was uncomfortable to watch, it would be much better at eye level. Divan bed mattress was so soft & worn my husband didn't sleep too well, it really needs replacing. Extra pillows of different softness, firmer better for us. In the en suite shower room it was really lovely & modern but there was no non-slip mat so was rather slippery & no towel rails at all which is very unusual. Couldn't find the hairdryer. Outside the wooden planters full of dead weeds.

Booked and paid the 170. Then told you cannot use the log burner. Upon arrival two of the three bedrooms had been locked off. So we had no choice of what room to sleep in for view purposes. The bath had a large burn in the bottom (I sent pics and had been poorly repaired) the letterbox was hanging off on arrival. (It was fairly windy.) The bath was cold, and so the spa part was pointless. The sealant needed redoing as looked like it had seen better days. The reception smelled really strong of heating oil which was overbearing. The bed seemed smaller than a normal double. There were clean towels on the bed and in general the premises was very clean which was nice. The manual states to strip beds and things which I didn't realise either on booking, however we did. Under the protector when we stripped the bed was someone's eyelash extension. The kitchen has plenty of facilities and is very well equipped with anything that you could need. Unfortunately, it wasn't a well-rested stay for us. The decor is very pleasant, though, and the layout is nice. Ample bathroom facilities but only the one spa bath. Messaged the owner for the key code again upon arrival, but there was no answer... and messaged about the issues after staying, but no reply. Unfortunately, it seemed really pricey for half the rooms locked off and not being able to use the burner, etc. Shame as could be really lovely with a few adjustments and a fairer price as I thought we would have full use of all of the property and choices for 170 for one night.

Very well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Lovely and warm and quiet.

The beds could do with updating to reflect the rest of the property and the standards of the rest of the furniture as rather small and aged

The space and the kitchen was lovely, will go back in the spring hopefully so we can visit the park and make more use of the outside area.

One of the beds was very soft and didn’t get a great nights sleep. And the shower was very small in the main bathroom. But wouldn’t stop me from staying again.
