Comfy beds, quiet location, lots of space, good shower

There is a lot of disrepair - things previously noted by other visitors (broken knobs on gas hob, broken coffee table, stained sofa etc.) have not been acted upon. The house is also very cold, even with the heating on! Needs an overhaul, and attention to detail, then the owner would get more repeat bookings.

Quirky music theme and location. Loved the rooms.

Would be good to get the ignition fixed on the stove. Luckily we had a lighter!

Very spacious

Didn't like the cleanliness, the area. Things were broken, and it looked tired and not clean to us. The boiler was incredibly loud when trying to sleep. Along with beds being very creaky, there were stains on bedding that put us off. The bathrooms were again not clean to a good standard. All the kitchen equipment was also tired and worn out. The kitchen cooker was an absolute nightmare as the switches were also broken and lose. Another thing is doors wouldn't lock, and walking around the whole hoise was noisy. We hardly had any sleep, and for that and all the above, I wouldn't stay again, nor would I recommend it.

Steep stairs to attic room but hand rails to help. Could do with more hanging space and a full size mirror upstairs

The sofa was comfortable

The place was dirty and very cold. Also in a rough street a lot of shouting during the night.

Local to town, cheap for big group and lots of space, cool music equipment to try such as a record player guitars etc. Clean and easy to access

really cold when arrived with almost a damp feel due to heating not already being on when we arrived but YouTube video explained how to get heating working which heated the house up throughout our stay. Kitchen cupboards need a clear out from old items from previous guests

The house was lovely andvery comfortable and in a perfect location for us visiting our daughter at uni with her brothers.

Not brilliantly equipped in the kitchen. I would have given a great review but unfortunately the bath was not plumbed in so when one of the party pulled out the plug there was a flood. We told the owner and cleaned it all up. She didn’t seem that worried at the time but then tried to charge us for the damage. She wasn’t concerned that our stuff was damaged or that we spent the whole morning saving her property from flood damage.
