Bali at Scenic Haven Lodge in Hartbeespoort

Beautiful place with amazing views of the dam with stunning gardens and friendly staff.

Room facilities advertised weren't actually in the room - kitchenette: was just a small table with the bare minimum. Large bed - was a double extra length bed, not very comfortable for sharing. We were not informed that the room we booked had a staff room attached - which made it really awkward, not having any privacy (could have booked another room if that was made known to us)

The staff was wonderful and the decor for my girlfriend's surprise was beautiful. Unfortunately, the room and the location itself were not what we expected, and left us feeling a bit disappointed with the stay. Great people, but the accommodation didn't quite live up to our hopes.

The staff seemed very tired but were still as friendly as they possibly could be. Some of the bedding wasn’t 100% clean, we had one stain on the bed but otherwise it was good. For the breakfast, I think it’s important to ask for any allergies beforehand.

We booked a "double room", only to get there and find 1 room and was told that it is Booking.com fault bearing in mind that all rooms were fully booked. We were 3 adults and 1 child we had to share that room. It would be good if they updated their pots and dishes, most of the are chipped

Nothing!

The rooms are too small, the toilet had no door/ privacy and it had a blockage, bugs and mosquitoes 🙌😭Old furniture, poor Wi-Fi the place is untidy 😭they have no control of their pets/ cats, the kitchen is far and extremely untidy and the steep almost ruined our car. I HAD A HORRIBLE STAY AND WILL NEVER SET FOOT THERE EVER!
