Bali at Scenic Haven Lodge in Hartbeespoort

Lovely host and friendly staff. Amazing breakfast definitely a 10/10. Beautiful views of the dam and mountains. Very peaceful and relaxing scenery.

Didn't do breakfast but the location is serene and peaceful. Lovely restful weekend away.

There is quite some noise in the mornings when setting up for breakfast above our room, I know it cant be helped with wooden flooring and being below the breakfast place. But was quite a disturbance in the morning.

I booked a room that stated that it had a private jacuzzi, for my elderly mother and grandson to relax in without bothering anybody else, I even paid in extra, the jacuzzi is down the stairs right next to the other peoples suites, not even close to the suites entrance, that is not private and I was told by the hostess that is used by all the visitors, that is not what was described. The patio door could not lock there was not key, so we slept with an open door. The internet did not work so no television app worked properly because everything needed internet. The room where the extra sofa is in looks as if it was supposed to be a packing room and I was also “warned” by the hostess that the sofa is very hard and we need to put an extra blanket on. The Saturday morning when I agreed to refreshing the room, I was asked to leave the key for they do not have a spare key, a previous guest left with the key. When I said I will leave it open, nobody even volunteered to come and fetch the key, I was asked to leave open with all my stuff in it with the door not even closing. It was just there that we packed up everything and did not even go back the 2nd evening.
