When we arrived the room had not been cleaned because a painter had been there. I expressed my concern to the owner and agreed to a partial refund arrangement

On the night of 2 Oct i sent the owner Louise a WhatsApp message. She responded in wring accepting my proposal of paying one night plus 50 pounds and refund the rest. The owner then told lbooking.com to refund me less than half what she agreed to in writing??? I feel as though I trusted her message and moved out and had to pay for another accommodation knowing how much we had agreed to for the refund. I feel as though the owner has betrayed my trust and told booking.com to pay me less. In our previous correspondence she said you was proud of her accommodation and liked everything ship shape. I feel the owner has not done the right thing so far and urge her to contact booking.com to organise for me to be paid what she wrote she would refund. Greg

Nothing, horrible place to stay, nothing good, waste of time and money.

- It was one of the worst stays we've had on Booking - The photos in the ad are misleading, we thought we had booked the apartment with a separate bedroom. We asked to cancel the same day and they refused, we were forced to go because they don't give refunds. - The photos really give the impression that the studio is big, but it's really small, barely enough room for two people - I don't understand why this place is so expensive. We paid £740 to stay for 7 days in a room with a bed in the middle of the kitchen, you sleep in the same place you cook. That amount covers a month's rent in a large house - We were on the third floor, there's no elevator and the stairs are narrow. Very difficult to climb with heavy suitcases - Terrible location, there's nothing around, you have to take a taxi to get to the center - The wooden floor creaks a lot when you walk on it - The bed is attached to a closet in the living room, we found this very strange and it makes a lot of noise at the slightest movement - We lost count of how many times we bumped our leg on the corner of this bed - The shower stall is extremely small, it's hard to move around inside - The blinds on the window let in a lot of light so it's not possible to sleep well in the morning - There's a window on the ceiling that lets in a lot of light and takes away all the sleep in the morning - The internet connection is terrible and the mobile data signal doesn't work, we were disconnected the whole week - There's no refrigerator, just a tiny minibar that doesn't hold anything - There are bugs everywhere, lots of flies in the bathroom, we had to buy insecticide - There are barely any kitchen utensils: two glasses, two plates, two forks, two spoons... - The pan was filthy, we washed it and brown water started coming out. It was so disgusting that we decided to buy a new pan to cook with. They charge more than £100 per day and they don't buy a new pan, unbelievable.

No breakfast. Location good.

Dead insects all over floor on arrival.

City centre location, clean studio flat

Customer service was lacking unfortunately, so a few queries were left unanswered. Also, the flat had lots of cupboards and shelves and knicknacks which made it look good but were unnecessary for a short stay. On the other hand, the ventilation in the bathroom never worked, the heating never came on (the main room was at the right temperature, but the bathroom was cold), there was no dishcloth to dry the dishes. Also, the view on each side was poor, but that's often the case in cities.

There is plenty of space. A lot of equipment. Has TV.
