Bristol City Stays - Harbourside Apartments

Easy walk into central Bristol. Had everything needed to cook. Great bathroom

Shower gel holder kept falling off wall. Sign of damp in bedroom, paint peeling off walls. Could do with tea towels.

The lock on the front door is literally hanging off the hinges and provides no security at all. It is a real concern staying there when there appears to be little monitoring of the facilities and their upkeep. Your information on the apartment says the flat has a dishwasher but I could not find one anywhere. I looked in every cupboard. What made it harder with no dishwasher, was no tea towels provided for me to wipe any dishes. I was supplied with one Chux only to serve me. The “fully equipped kitchen” didn’t even have a cutting board. The bench with the fridge under it is so you can’t sit there, is that the dining table? I’m not sure. I want sure if the outdoor furniture that you list as a feature was inside the flat or in the dirty courtyard? The shower has mould. I was provided with one full sized towel. It would have been nice to have a second towel so I could wash it regularly and a clothes airer to put my wet clothes on. Where are guests meant to dry their wet clothes ?

The bed was nice, the kitchen basic, the bathroom fine, the few of books on the shelf were interesting, the flat felt safe. We appreciated the smoke alarms.

The bathroom smelled a bit mouldy, the sofa was a bit uncomfortable.

No WiFi No shampoo I queried both of these with the host and they advised that they were there, but, they weren't. I think they thought we were in a different apartment as their instructions didn't match where we were.

The apartment needs some maintenance ... kitchen lights not working ; wifi is poor ; bathroom fan needs fixing ; bed legs need mending

It was a good little apartment had everything we needed for two nights. Shower was lovely and hot.

Location is ideal. Easy to check in/out. Price is fair.

There are no blackout curtains, made it too bright in the morning. No toiletries (e.g. shampoo) provided, missing cutlery (there were no forks in the kitchen) etc.

Property in hot wells not far from college green. check in was fine. it was clean

large damp patch in wall. stingy portions of coffee and tea. no milk. no iron. sink didn’t drain easily. wifi unreliable

Very clean and comfortable!
